About

Hello and welcome to my website. My name is Ngeun Sysengthong and I am a Lao Australian artist living and working on both beautiful Gadigal Country and Yuin Country on the east coast of Australia.

My art practice is focused on meditative and intuitive abstract oil and mixed media paintings. My artworks are hand-created, fuelled with love, care and emotion.

I am interested in exploring painting as a potent medium for visual communication and expression. I am inspired by God, Spirit, Mother Nature and the human experience and condition.

I am mostly self-taught as a painter. In high school in 1994, I was the recipient of the ARTEXPRESS Gould League Environment Award and my sculpture artwork titled Birth-Death-Rebirth was featured on the front cover of the Exhibition catalogue.

In 2002, I studied at COFA for a Bachelor of Fine Arts (one semester – uncompleted) and then transferred to a Master of Fine Arts (Research – Sculpture)(also one semester – uncompleted).

Now, I am a student of life and continue to learn, practice and share my art.

Thank you for visiting my website and taking the time to view my artworks. To view more of my work and follow my art practice, you can do so on Instagram and Facebook.

For all enquiries about my artworks, please send me an email. Some of my artworks are also available for purchase on Bluethumb, eBay and Saatchi Art. I am able to post my artworks worldwide and I am available for commissioned works.

Best wishes,

Ngeun 🙏❤️
